The third part of Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft II trilogy, the Protoss-centered Legacy of the Void, has been officially announced at BlizzCon 2014 today. The RTS will feature the conclusion to the epic story arc started in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and continued in its expansion Heart of the Swarm. Blizzard Entertainment announced a new title today at BlizzCon 2014: Overwatch, a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter. In a combination of pre-rendered video and gameplay footage, the World of Warcraft studio showed off a game focusing on humans and humanoids in futuristic arms and armor engaging in fast, action-packed firefights.
The Overwatch beta is coming in 2015, and fans will be able to sign up for beta access at playoverwatch.com
