No Level Cap, No Hard Finish in Fallout 4

Bethesda Game Studios via their Twitter account today verified that, unlike Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, the upcoming Fallout 4 will have no level cap, and will allow players to continue exploring and adventuring after the main storyline is over.

To fans who’ve asked: Fallout 4 doesn’t end with the main story is over and there is no level cap. You can keep playing and leveling.

Fallout 3 had an experience cap of level 20, with an additional ten levels available through the Broken Steel expansion. New Vegas started with 30 levels and could reach as high as 50 as players added four DLC releases for five levels each.

Fallout 4 from Bethesda Game Studios will release on 10 November 2015 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
