At Gamescom today in Cologne, Germany, Colossal Order & Paradox Interactive announced the first expansion for their blockbuster city builder Cities: Skylines. Entitled Cities: Skylines After Dark, the expansion will bring a number of new features to the game: a day/night cycle, leisure and beach specializations for commercial zones, expanded city services, and new transportation options.
No release date or price has been revealed as yet. Cities: Skylines released for Windows PC in March 2015 to rave reviews, reaching one million copies sold in the first month. Paradox also recently announced that Cities: Skylines would be coming to consoles, with Microsoft’s Xbox One getting limited exclusivity for the title when the console port is released.
The third part of Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft II trilogy, the Protoss-centered Legacy of the Void, has been officially announced at BlizzCon 2014 today. The RTS will feature the conclusion to the epic story arc started in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and continued in its expansion Heart of the Swarm.
